Scifo shined for the Bulldogs in a pair of meets over the weekend in Smithfield. The senior took home four first-place individual finishes accompanied by a winning relay squad and one second-place finish. On Friday, Jan. 17, Scifo helped the Black and Gold top UMass, 180-114, for the first time since 2012 as she racked up the most points of any individual swimmer with 22. To start the day on Friday, the 200 medley relay team of Kayleigh Canavan (Cumberland, R.I.), Reetta Kanervo (Oulu, Finland), Alyvia Beaudion (Cypress, Texas), and Scifo finished first overall with a time of 1:47.30. She followed the relay performance by taking first place in both the 100 backstroke (59.45) and 200 backstroke (2:07.56). Scifo also finished second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:10.55 to close out the meet on Friday. On Saturday, Scifo tallied nothing but first-place finishes in her individual events as she dominated again in the 100 backstroke (59.70) and 200 backstroke (2:06.75) to help the Bulldogs take down Rider, 159-122, on Senior Day.
