Gallagher earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors after scoring a career-high 21 points in Bryant’s 71-66 setback at Vermont. The 5-8 point guard shot 60.0 percent from the floor, including 2-of-5 from three. Gallagher accounted for 14 points in the second half alone, sinking four field goals in just three minutes of play in the fourth quarter before fouling out. The rookie is the first Bulldog to post a 20+ point game this season and the first to dish out five assists, which also marks a career-best. Gallagher's five assists went along with just one turnover for a 5.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.  Gallagher currently leads the Bulldogs averaging 12.7 points per game.
