Thank You, Bryant: Katie Clark

Bryant Athletics will feature "Thank You, Bryant" letters from senior student-athletes over the course of the next two weeks.

Thank you, Bryant. Thank you for providing me a second home and family that has supported and cared for me. Thank you for giving me a place to grow, develop, and flourish. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love. Thank you for giving me the foundation, confidence, and knowledge needed for the next steps in my life. This University has given me more than I could have ever imagined.

I want to thank the science program, specifically Professor Mott and Professor Hokeness, who have truly invested in me and provided me with so much support over the years. They have impacted my life and helped shape me into the person I am today.

I want to thank the Bryant Athletics program and all those who are involved. From our athletic director to our dedicated strength coaches and trainers, to the media personnel, and of course, my coaches. Coach Roache, Coach Lewis, and Coach Chase have all impacted me in ways that I can not put into words. All your hard work and dedication allows us athletes to thrive not only on the field but also in life.

To my teammates, thank you for allowing me to be me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. Lacrosse is so much more than just the practices, the running, the lifts, and the film sessions. These special, crazy, competitive, and wild people have made my experience at Bryant unforgettable. I will always cherish the long bus rides, locker room banter, weight room shenanigans, the tailgates, and the bonds I have formed over the years. I have loved being a part of this team and I could not imagine it any other way. You all mean the world to me and have changed my life for the better, and for that, I am forever grateful.

And of course, a very special thanks to my mother, father, and siblings for instilling an internal drive and confidence that has allowed me to thrive at Bryant University. I could not have done it without their unconditional love and support.

I would not trade these four years of my life for anything. Everyone who has supported me and my teammates along the way deserves my sincere thanks. It's not a goodbye, it's a see you later! We are a family and we are Bulldogs forever.
