  • The Bryant University Athletic Training Room is located in the Chace Athletic Center, main level. The 4800 square-foot facility, completed in July 2016, offers state-of-the-art facilities for Bryant University’s 520 student-athletes. The facility holds 13 treatment tables, 6 taping tables, and cutting-edge therapeutic modalities. A fully functional aquatic therapy room houses two temperature-controlled whirlpools for hot and cold therapy. The space also includes a SwimEx hydrotherapy pool, offering Bryant’s student-athletes a unique opportunity to complete more aggressive rehabilitation or to stay active in the face of injury.
  • Bryant University’s athletic training staff includes four full-time athletic trainers and five intern athletic trainers. Each athletic trainer is certified nationally by the Board of Certification in addition to being state licensed in Rhode Island, and a significant portion of the staff hold advanced degrees and certifications. Highlighted certifications include Graston Technique, Kinesiotape Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Massage Therapist.
  • Bryant University has the pleasure of working with Dr. Jonathan Gastel, team orthopedic, and Dr. Jeffrey Feden, team physician. Our team doctors care for student-athletes both off and on-campus. On campus, the athletic training room houses a fully functional physician exam room, allowing student-athletes to be evaluated or follow up with team doctors without stepping foot off campus.
  • Athletic Training has additional facilities in Beirne Stadium and Conaty Indoor Athletic Center, allowing for pre- and post-practice treatment, as well as coverage of events from those satellite locations.
