Athletic Communications (Tristan Hobbes, thobbes@bryant.edu)

Assist Athletic Communications staff at home events with keeping statistics, public address announcing, scoreboard operations, website updates.  Previous experience with scorekeeping preferred.

Campus Recreation Marketing (Nick Schleicher, nschleicher@bryant.edu)

Assist with marketing programs, events, games for club sports, intramurals, fitness center, group exercise, pool, etc. Creating flyers, social media post, etc. 

Club Sports Event Operations  (Nick Schleicher, nschleicher@bryant.edu)

Assist with Club Sport Operations with game event management. Duties include setup and breakdown of club events, scoreboard operations. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Digital Media (Josh Peloquin, jpeloquin@bryant.edu)

Assist with everything from camera operations, graphic and production, play-by-play and color analyst for the upcoming sports season. We are looking to expand our offering to include weekly sports news updates and interviews as well as editing highlights from various games for future promotions.

Equipment Room (David McKenna, dmckenna2@bryant.edu)

Assist in all aspects of daily equipment room operations. Doing laundry, inventory, etc. Must be willing to work night and weekends. 

Fitness Center (Nick Schleicher, nschleicher@bryant.edu)

The Chace Wellness Center workers operate the main check-in desk at the entrance of the Chace Center and the second-floor entrance of the fitness center. Assist with daily operations, fitness center cleaning, check-in, equipment, etc. 

Group Exercise Instructor (Nick Schleicher, nschleicher@bryant.edu)

Teach group exercise classes throughout the semester. Must be certified in class you wish to teach. 

Home Event Operations  (Jake Friedman, jfriedman@bryant.edu)

Assist the Event Operations department with game event management. Duties include setup and breakdown of athletic events, scoreboard operations, ticket sales, ball shaggers, and ushers. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Intramurals (Andrew LeBlanc, aleblanc5@bryant.edu)

Various positions available including referees, statisticians, marketing for intramurals throughout the year, coordinating intramural schedules, etc. Must work nights. 

Lifeguards (Aimee Bourassa, abourassa@bryant.edu)

Operate and perfrom lifeguard duties during open swim times.  Must be a certified lifeguard. 

Marketing & Promotions (Tristan Hobbes, thobbes@bryant.edu / Jason Sullivan, jsulliva@bryant.edu)

Assist the Sports Marketing department with event promotions at home events.  Duties include setting up promotional tables, coordinating halftime and postgame contests, writing public address announcer scripts, event music operations. We are also looking for individuals interested in singing the National Anthem at home events.

Tupper the Bulldog Mascot (Nick Simeone nsimeone2@bryant.edu)

Tupper the Bulldog Mascot: must be full of energy, physically fit, outgoing and be able to pump up the crowds. Preform at various events throughout the year. 

 

Internships:

Athletic Communications Unpaid Academic Internship

The intern will work hands-on with a number of marketing communications initiatives to advance the department of athletics, including assisting in the production and design of department publications, promoting the department and its student-athletes to local and national media outlets, and assist in the positive presentation of the university to alumni, fans, and sponsors. Duties will include website content publishing, statistical research, hometown press releases, photo editing and filing.  Writing for Bryant Magazine, Alumni E-Newsletter and Bryant 360 as well as post-game story write-ups. Event management with selected home, conference, and NCAA championship events including maintaining statistics, in-game blogging, and public address opportunities.

Sports Marketing Internship

This student intern will assist the Director of Marketing in promoting Bryant's 25 varsity sports to the student body and outside the community. The Marketing Department is always interested in growing the school's fan base on and off campus, as well as maintaining a tremendous game day atmosphere at home games. Responsibilities may include game ticket and management, promotional planning, maintaining the Bryant University Athletics Facebook page, and work with the corporate sponsors. Applicants should be creative and organized with good writing and communication skills and be available to work in the office and during games.
