BRYANT UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S LACROSSE COACH JESSICA DAVOS RESIGNS
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University Department of Athletics has announced the resignation of women's lacrosse coach Jessica Davos to pursue other coaching opportunities. The announcement was made today by Director of Athletics Bill Smith.
Davos led the women's lacrosse team to a 10-8 record in her only season at Bryant in 2008. The Bulldogs finished third in the Northeast-10 Conference with a league record of 7-3. Three student-athletes garnered all-conference honors this past season and one was named to the conference's all-academic team.
"On behalf of the entire athletics department, I want to wish
Jess the very best in her future endeavors," said Smith. "She
did a tremendous job guiding the program and overseeing the
academic progress of our student-athletes and helped prepare the
team for future success."
