45 Bulldogs earn All-NEC Academic Honor Roll distinction this winter

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – A total of 45 Bryant University student-athletes were named to the 2014-15 Northeast Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll, including nine who earned Commissioner's Honor Roll distinctions.

The NEC Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above with 420 fall student-athletes qualifying for the distinction in the winter of 2014-15. Of those 420 student-athletes, 132 were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, an accolade that recognizes those who have maintained a GPA of 3.75 or above.

Women’s track and field led the way with five of its own earning the Commissioner’s Honor Roll distinction including Brittany Sarza, Jocelyn Davies, Staci Rezendes, Brooke Tomasetti, and Rebecca Nunez, while the men’s side added two more with Alexander Evans and Justin Patterson. Women’s swimming (Nicole Salzano) and women’s basketball (Morgan Olander) rounded out the list of nine Bulldogs who achieved a 3.75 GPA or higher this winter.
