Baseball sending 19 to college summer leagues

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team is sending 19 players to college summer leagues, including a record 13 to the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

Bryant will have representation in the NECBL, the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL), the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball Leauge (PGCBL) and the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL).

The Futures League opens its season on May 30, the PGCBL and NYCBL open on June 1, the NECBL begins on June 5 and the Cape Cod League throws its first pitch on June 12.
