SMITHFIELD, R.I. – This past Friday, October 19th the Bryant University Women’s Rugby team hosted the Bentley University Falcons here in their fifth match of the Fall 2019 season.

Player of the Match was awarded to Jennifer Rosinski for her keen ability to spot openings and run into the ball, securing it for the Bulldogs

Rookie of the Match was awarded to Caroline James for getting involved in many rucks

Brenna Rojek received an honorable mention from coach Rosie Downey for running on, completing forward-back plays, and tipping

Judy Duong suffered an injury to her knee during the match

All of the players had a great game, with everyone finding holes in the opponent’s defense

The Bulldogs’ former assistant coach, Mike Ducey, returned to show his support for the team

All seniors participated in their last home match as Bulldogs
