RHODE ISLAND COLLEGES FACE OFF

SOUTH KINGSTON, R.I. -- The Bulldogs faced the University of Rhode Island for their first match of the spring season.  The team had a hard-fought battle, but unfortunately, fell short in the end.   

Final Score

  • Women's Doubles: Anna Torregrossa and Emily Krawczynski (6-5) 

  • Men's Doubles: Aidan Costello and Tom Shea (0-6) 

  • Women's Singles: Lauren Fedor (4-6) 

  • Men's Singles: Adam Banspach (4-6) 

  • Mixed Doubles: Justin Elkinson and Emily Yu (3-6) 

Highlights 

  • Anna Torregrossa and Emily Krawczynski played a very evenly matched team and won in a tiebreaker.  

  • Both singles teams had a lot of great shots throughout the matches.
