GARDEN STATE 9 TOURNAMENT IS NO PROBLEM FOR ULTIMATE
VINELAND, N.J. -- The Ultimate Frisbee team headed to New Jersey to compete in the Garden State 9 Tournament from March 30th to the 31st. They played against six teams over two days and performed exceptionally well--so much so that they used this tournament to experiment with new players and strategies.

The competition in this tournament was not very good, so they used a lot of the tournament to play freshmen and new players in order to gain experience for the post-season

Senior captain Justin Kunkel did a good job facilitating play and keeping everyone involved and learning

The team was able to experiment with many different strategies and still win the games by a wide margin

West Virginia was in the quarterfinals

Slippery Rock was in the Semifinals

Salisbury was in the Finals
