Series History

• Bryant and Brown will be meeting for the fourth time in program history on Saturday.
• The Bears own a 2-1 lead in the series, having won 35-27 last season in Smithfield.
• The road team has won all three meetings so far, with the Black and Gold's only victory coming at Brown Stadium in 2015.

• Bryant is averaging 30.5 points per game and 451 yards per game through the first two weeks of the season.
• First-year starting QB Price Wilson (Marietta, Ga.) leads the Northeast Conference with 639 passing yards through the first two games. He is the only QB in the league that is averaging over 300 yards passing.
• Senior Matt Sewall (Portsmouth, R.I.) ranks second in the NEC in receptions per game (6.5) and receiving yards per game (90.5).
• Redshirt sophomore Jean Constant (Delray Beach, Fla.) and Sewall rank 1-2 in the NEC in all-purpose yards per game. Constant is averaging 168.5, while Sewall is at 139 per game.
• Sophomore Gavin Rowley (Hampstead, Md.) currently leads the NEC in punting average at 40.2 yards per punt. He is also 2-for-2 in field goals and 5-for-5 in PATs.

A bit about the Bears

• Brown opens its 140th season of football on Saturday when it hosts Bryant.
• The Bears are coming off a season in which they finished 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the Ivy League.
• Brown returns its starting QB from a year ago in TJ Linta (1,074 yards) but Nicholas Duncan is listed as the starter for Saturday. Duncan appeared in just one game last year, going 7-of-16 for 62 yards.
• The Bears will have to replace their top running back and three of their top four receivers from a year ago.
• Defensively, Brown welcomes back Richard Jarvis and Connor Coughlin. Jarvis 7.5 sacks and 18.5 tackles for a loss last season, while Coughlin had 53 tackles and five tackles for a loss.
