Eckhaus claims NEC Rookie of the Week honors

SOMERSET, N.J. -- Bryant University football quarterback Zevi Eckhaus was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday. 

Eckhaus closes the season with his sixth NEC Rookie of the Week nod. He completed 22-of-31 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns. It marked his fourth-game of 300+ passing yards this season, while his four TD passes were a season-high. Eckhaus finished the year with multiple TD passes in eight-straight games. On Saturday, he completed passes to eight different receivers, including five to Anthony Frederick. Eckhaus threw TD passes of 19, 3, 22 and 12.  

In addition, Frederick was named an #NECPrimePerformer. Frederick caught five passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday at Merrimack.
