As a junior: Appeared in 16 games between the pipes, starting in 15... Recorded both of Bryant's wins in net... Made 130 saves in 937 minutes of action... Posted a 5.38 GAA and a .644 save percentage.
As a sophomore: Appeared in all 20 games, starting 19... Posted a 12-7-0 record with a 1.85 GAA and a .810 save pct.... Recorded three shutouts... All-conference second team selection.
As a freshman: Appeared in 21 games as a freshman, starting in 20... Recorded a 10-10 record, along with a 1.99 goals against average and a .784 save percentage... Posted three shutouts.
Before Bryant: A 2005 graduate of Dominican Convent, Mawema was a member of Zimbabwe's 2005 junior national field hockey team that competed in the 2005 Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile.
Personal: Daughter of Nelson and Memory Mawema, Kundayi P. Mawema was born December 17, 1987... Has two sisters, Rude and Chiedza, who is a freshman for the Bulldogs this season.
