Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Deerfield High School, Blitz was a three-year starter for the Warriors... Led team to a No. 5 ranking in Illinois... Named team captain as a senior... Two-time Team MVP... Two-time all-state selection as a junior and senior... Named an all-academic selection in 2008... Named the Deerfield Scholar-Athlete... Competed in every athletic season for all four years at Deerfield... Also participated in the Futures program from 2006-08... Member of the Windy City Flyers field hockey club where she was the recipient of the Impact Player Award and was named Team MVP in 2008... Personal: Daughter of Alan and Caron Blitz, Rachel Eliza Blitz was born on March 24, 1991... Has one sister, Cortney.
