LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Senior Elise Boissoneau (Ashburnham, Mass.) scored the Bryant field hockey program’s first-ever postseason goal in the second half of Friday’s Northeast Conference Tournament semifinal, but the third-seeded Bulldogs couldn’t find the back of the net enough times to overtake second-seeded Monmouth, falling, 4-1, in the first Division I postseason appearance in Bryant Athletics history.

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Senior defender Brittany Glenn (Easthampton, Mass.) headlined a trio of All-NEC selections for the Bryant field hockey team, as announced by league at Thursday's NEC Awards Banquet. Juniors Courtney Landi (Kingston, N.Y.) and Katherine Andrusin (North Andover, Mass.) were named to the all-conference second team, rounding out the most all-league picks for the Bulldogs since joining the Division I ranks.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The late-season surge of freshman Olivia Jankins (West Brookfield, Mass.) hasn’t gone unnoticed by those outside the Bryant field hockey program, and that point was made clear by the Northeast Conference Monday afternoon, as Jankins earned her second-career rookie of the week selection for leading the Bulldogs on a 2-0 week.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – With just 1:48 remaining in the second overtime period, senior Elise Boissoneau (Ashburnham, Mass.) took a cross from rookie Olivia Jankins (West Brookfield, Mass.) at the right of the goal mouth and brought the nearly 100-minute affair to an end, tallying game-winning goal to give the Bryant University field hockey team a 3-2 double-overtime win over Sacred Heart on the road in the regular-season finale.
