Bryant falls to Wagner in OT, 2-1

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University field hockey team dropped an overtime heartbreaker to Wagner on Sunday afternoon, 2-1.

Taryn Rauff scored Bryant's lone goal, her fifth of the year. Marijn Jaarsma made 15 saves.

  • Wagner won the game with 5:31 left in the first overtime period on a penalty corner.         

SCORING SUMMARY

  • Q3 39:45 - Liselotte Koop took a feed from Agustina DeHabre on a penalty corner and was able to fire it home.
  • Q3 44:56 - Rauff received a long aerial and then worked her way inside the circle and finishing high to the left corner with a reverse. 
  • OT 64:29 - Julia Pastorino received the insertion and made one move before firing it home.
