SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Northern Vermont-Lyndon is 2-1 on the year after playing three high-scoring contests to begin the season. The Hornets are averaging 98.3 points per game and allowing 97.0.

NVU has received 77.3 percent of its scoring from its starting five, led by 22.3 points per game from Zach Falkenburg. The Hornets have been outrebounded by 7.3 per game this year.

THE SERIES
The Bulldogs and Hornets are meeting for the first time. Bryant is 3-0 against non-Division I opponents since making the move to D1 in 2008-09 with two wins over Salve Regina (2013, 2016) and one over Emerson (2015).

LAST TIME OUT: BRYANT 69, SAINT PETER'S 44
Bryant grabbed a Division I program-record 53 rebounds and earned its largest margin of victory against a non-conference opponent in the Bulldogs' D1 era Wednesday at Saint Peter's. Bryant outscored Saint Peter's 23-9 in the final 9:08 of the first half after being held to five points in the opening 10:52.

RECORDS ACROSS THE BOARD
Bryant's 53 rebounds Wednesday were the most in the Bulldogs' Division I era, topping a collection of four games in which Bryant hauled in 46 in its first 11 D1 seasons.

Sophomore Patrick Harding (Fairfield, Conn.) grabbed 19 rebounds in Sunday's victory over Cornell, breaking Dan Garvin's Division I single-game record of 18 set in 2015. Harding corralled 11 of his rebounds on the defensive end and added eight offensive boards.

ROUTE 44 LEADS BRYANT TO VICTORY
Bryant held Saint Peter's to 44 points in Wednesday's win - the second-fewest points the Bulldogs have allowed in a game in the program's Division I era. The record was set in a 56-43 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Jan. 17, 2009, Bryant's first victory over an NEC opponent in the Bulldogs' season as an independent.

THREE OUT OF FOUR AIN'T BAD
Bryant held Saint Peter's to 25.4 percent from the field in Wednesday's win, good for the Bulldogs' best field goal percentage defense in a game in the program's D1 era.

GREEN ENERGY
Freshman Michael Green III (Bronx, N.Y.) has impressed in his first four contests in Black & Gold. The point guard from the Bronx has three games of double-digit scoring (Brown, Rutgers, Saint Peter's) and has recorded 5.3 assists per game.

11'S GOOD FOR 10
Senior Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) has scored 10 or more points 69 times in his time in Black & Gold, with Wednesday's output passing Frankie Dobbs for third in career double-digit scoring efforts.

MAJOR KEY
Freshman Charles Pride (Syracuse, N.Y.) dropped in 22 points last Thursday at Rutgers - the most ever by Bryant freshman against an opponent from a major conference (AAC, ACC, Big East, B1G, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC.) Pride sank five threes in the contest and grabbed seven rebounds on his way to being named NEC Rookie of the Week Monday.

UP NEXT: NIAGARA
