SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook is coming off a 20-win season in 19-20. The Seawolves will have eight newcomers making their debuts this winter. They are picked to finish fifth in the America East this season.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Stony Brook are set to meet for the first time as Division I programs. The Bulldogs earned a 77-59 victory over the Seawolves when the teams met as Division II opponents in 1998.

WHAT TO KNOW

  • The Bulldogs are coming off a 15-win season, the fourth-most in a single season in DI program history.
  • Bryant returns three starters, led by reigning Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year Michael Green III. Green III averaged 9.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and dished out 100 assists.
  • He'll be joined by fellow sophomore Charles Pride (8.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg) and redshirt-senior Hall Elisias (7.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.6 blocks).
  • Elisias was one of the best shot blockers in the country last season, posting a DI single-season program record with 78.
  • Bryant will welcome nine newcomers - 6 transfers and 3 freshmen - this season.
