THE SERIES
Bryant and Wagner meet for the 23rd time Thursday night on Staten Island. The two teams have split the previous 22 meetings, with the Bulldogs having won each of the last six. Bryant swept a pair of games at the Chace Athletic Center last season.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant opened NEC play with wins over Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart last week. The Bulldogs won both games by a combined seven points are 2-0 in NEC play for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Bryant's best start in league play is 6-0, a feat the 2012-13 team accomplished.
  2. Peter Kiss posted his second 30-point game of the year vs Sacred Heart, finishing with 33 on 12-of-22 shooting. He now leads the NEC with 20.0 points per game and has scored in double-figures in 29-of-32 games as a Bulldog.
  3. Hall Elisias blocked 11 shots in two games last week and has 3.8 blocks per game this season. He ranks fifth nationally in that category and is eighth among active players in the NCAA in blocks per game.
  4. Adham Eleeda is on a roll over the last four games, hitting 19-of-39 from distance while averaging 14.8 points a night. He ranks 54th nationally with 2.85 3s/game.
  5. Thursday night also pits the top two teams in the Northeast Conference preseason poll. Wagner was picked first, while Bryant was slated second.
