Bryant, SFU square off on MLK Day
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball closes out the third weekend of Northeast Conference play on Monday as it hosts Saint Francis U in a special Martin Luther King Jr. Day game. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Saint Francis U have met 26 times, with the Red Flash holding a 15-11 lead in the all-time series. The Bulldogs and Red Flash split a pair of games in Loretto last season. Bryant snapped a 10-game losing streak in Loretto with a 72-63 victory in the second game of the series. Hall Elisias grabbed a DI program record 20 rebounds in the game. Bryant and SFU have also met four times in the NEC Quarterfinals.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
- Bryant is now 4-1 in NEC play following Saturday's 73-66 victory over Mount St. Mary's. The Bulldogs won the rematch of last year's NEC Championship thanks to its best three-point shooting performance of the year. Bryant finished 12-of-24 from beyond the arc. It was the 18th time under Jared Grasso the Bulldogs have made at least 12 threes.
- Adham Eleeda paced Saturday's victory, scoring a career-high 26 points on a career-high eight made threes. He's now 28-of-57 (.491) from three over his last six games and is averaging 3.1 3s/game.
- Peter Kiss scored 18 in the victory on Saturday and enters Monday as the NEC leader with 20.4 ppg. He has scored in double-figures in all but one game this year and is averaging 22.5 ppg in league play.
- Charles Pride is averaging 16.3 ppg and 8.0 rpg during NEC play this season. He ranks in the top 10 of the NEC in both scoring and rebounding.
- Greg Calixte is playing some of the best basketball of his career over the last seven, averaging 6.9 ppg and 6.0 rpg. He's 22-of-27 from the field in those seven games.
