Bryant, Wagner meet with NEC Regular Season title on the line

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team welcomes Wagner College to the Chace Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon in the regular-season finale. Saturday's tip is set for 4:00 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN3 and NECFrontRow.

Saturday's game will be a winner-take-all affair for the NEC Regular-Season Championship. Both Bryant and Wagner will enter the game with identical 15-2 league records.

THE SERIES
Bryant is 11-12 all-time against Wagner. The Bulldogs had won six straight prior to the Seahawks' 84-81 overtime victory in January.

  1. Bryant enters Saturday with an 18-9 overall record and a 15-2 mark in the NEC. The 18 overall wins are tied for the second-most in a single season, while the 15 NEC wins are the most in DI program history.
  2. Peter Kiss enters Saturday as the nation's leading scorer with 25.2 points per game. Kiss has scored 30+ points in six-straight games and has 25+ points in 12 of his last 13. His nine 30-point games are the most in the country, while he joins Trae Young as the only players in the last 10 years to post at least eight-straight games with 25+ points. Kiss has scored 25+ in 10 consecutive outings. 
  3. Charles Pride is second on the team in scoring with 17.7 ppg. He ranks fourth in the NEC in scoring and first in rebounds with 8.3.   
  4. Kiss and Pride are the nation's highest-scoring duo, averaging 42.9 ppg.    
  5. Greg Calixte has started each of the last eight games and is averaging 9.5 ppg and 7.4 rpg in that span.
