Bryant visits Dartmouth Friday night

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to Hanover, New Hampshire, to face Dartmouth on Friday night. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m.

Friday's game will air on ESPN+.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Dartmouth have split 10 all-time meetings. The Big Green earned an overtime win last year in Smithfield, 63-61. Dartmouth tied the game at the buzzer in regulation and then won the game at the buzzer in overtime. The Bulldogs are 3-2 in Hanover.                

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant opened its season on Monday night against Thomas. The Bulldogs had eight players finish in double figures, led by 23 from Charles Pride and 22 from Sherif Gross-Bullock.
  2. Bryant begins the season ranked No. 23 in the College Insider Preseason Mid-Major Top 25. It is the first time in program history that the Bulldogs have been ranked in the preseason mid-major poll. 
  3. Charles Pride was named to the Jerry West Award Watch List, an award given to the top shooting guard in college basketball. Pride posted a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds on Monday. 
  4. Doug Edert hit a team-high five threes and finished with 19 points. As a team, the Black and Gold hit a program record 19 three pointers.     
  5. Sherif Gross-Bullock dazzled in his Bryant debut, scoring 22 points while adding six assists and five steals.
