MEN'S GOLF PLACES 11TH AT RUTGERS

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Bryant men's golf team opened the 2007 fall season with an 11th-place finish at the Rutgers Invitational, played Sept. 14 & 15 at the Rutgers University Golf Course. South Carolina-Upstate won the 18-team tournament with a three-over par 855 (280-284-291). Bryant was led by Scott Congdon's who finished in a tie for 13th.
Congdon shot a three-round total of 221 including an opening round 71. Mike Philipp was next for the Bulldogs, finishing in a tie for 47th with a 229 (74-76-79).
The Bulldogs will take part in the ECAC Championships next.
