Kuhar named NEC Scholar-Athlete; 104 earn Honor Roll nods

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University student-athletes finished the 2017-18 academic year strong, with 104 Bulldogs earning Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll accolades, highlighted by men’s tennis’ Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) who was named the sport’s Spring Scholar-Athlete. 26 student-athletes were named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

GRASONVILLE, Md. – The Bryant University men’s golf team closed out the Towson Invitational Sunday at Prospect Bay Country Club, placing 13th out of 17 teams. Junior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) shot a team-low 77 (+5) Sunday to finish 24th at +11. Just eight golfers out of 90 recorded a score of +6 or better in the 36-hole event.

Junior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) shot a team-low 78 (+6) Saturday on a course in which just 20 of 90 players carded a 76 or better.
