Roberts leads Bulldogs at Connecticut Cup
ELLINGTON, Conn. – The Bryant University men's golf team placed 15th at the Connecticut Cup, hosted Monday and Tuesday by UConn at Ellington Ridge Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs finished 15th in the 15-team event at 912 (+48). UConn won the team title with an even-par team score.
- Graduate John Roberts (West Hartford, Conn.) led the Bulldogs, placing 30th in the tournament (+7). Roberts shot a 70 and 76 Tuesday after a 77 Monday.
- Sophomore Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.) carded a 73 and 75 Tuesday to place 54th (+11), while junior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) shot 75 in both the second and third rounds to finish 59th (+12).
- Sophomore Steve Tasho (North Easton, Mass.) (+21) and freshman Gustavo Betances Pichardo (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) (+22) rounded out the Bryant scoring, while junior Jake Ratti (Hanover, Mass.) placed 69th as an individual (+15).
