Branchburg, N.J. – The Bryant University men's golf team won the St. Peter's Invitational by posting a team score of +20 at the Fox Hollow Golf Club in New Jersey.

Coach Blanchard's Comments

"First tournament the guys played well in brutal conditions, 28 degrees and windy. Nick Piersall played outstanding shooting 71, he finished 3rd. Redshirt Freshmen Patrick Galleher shot 74 and placed top 10 in his first collegiate event. Jack Woods finished tied 16th shooting 76. Tyler Hahn finished tied 36th and Dan Kurson finished tied 57th. Great way to start the season after a long time off".

 

How It Happened

  • Senior Nick Piersall shot a one-over 71, which put him in third place.
  • The Black and Gold earned another top-10 finish when sophomore Patrick Galleher recorded a four-over 74 and finished tied for eighth.
  • Classmate Jack Woods produced a six-over 76, which placed him tied for 16th on the leaderboard.
  • Junior Tyler Hahn and redshirt sophomore Dan Kurson placed tied for 36th and tied for 57th. Hahn shot a nine-over 79 and teammate Kurson registered a 12 over 82.
