Piersall Named NEC Golfer of the Week

Somerset, N.J. - Nick Piersall of the Bryant University men's golf team was named the Northeast Conference Golfer of the Week by the organization on Wednesday.

Piersall shot a 1-over 71 at the St. Peter's Invitational, which landed him third place on the individual leaderboard. He also helped the Bulldogs secure the win, as they registered a +20 as a team. This is the first time in Piersall's career that he has received this award.

Patrick Galleher was named an NEC Primetime Performer for his efforts. Galleher produced a four-over 74 and finished tied for eighth at the St. Peter's Invitational.

The Bulldogs will head to Maryland to play in the Carpetbagger Classic from March 19-21.
