2022 NEC Championships Preview

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. - The Bryant University men's golf team is heading down to Florida to try and capture the third Northeast Conference title in program history.

The Bulldogs will be sending six players to the LPGA Daytona Hills golf course in Daytona Beach. The Black and Gold have played six tournaments in the spring and recently won a tri-match against Holy Cross and Brown last week.

Nick Piersall leads the way for Bryant with a 74.1 average on the season. Piersall recorded the best round of the year with a 69 in the second round of the Columbia Invitational. He has accumulated four top-15 finishes in the Spring. Tyler Hahn has an average of 75.7 and didn't shoot a round above 80 all season. Jack Woods is having the best season of his career with an average of 76. Woods placed seventh at the Carpetbagger Classic and the SHU Invitational. Jonah Klaasen and Patrick Galleher have recorded averages of 77.1 and 77.7. Gallagher placed 33rd at last year's NEC Championship, and Klaasen will be competing for the first time in the championship. This season, Tyler Dupuis has participated in the Columbia Invitational and the SHU Invitational. He finished T-16th at SHU with scores of 76 and 68.
