Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of North Kingstown High School, Sternberg was a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Skippers... Named a two-time High School All-American selection... Two-year team captain... Twice named a first team all-state selection... Helped lead his team to state championships as a freshman and a junior... Arguably one of the top lacrosse prospects to ever come out of Rhode Island, Sternberg collected over 50 points and 139 groundballs as a senior, boasting a 90 percent faceoff percentage in 2009... Two-time team MVP... Was selected to represent Rhode Island in the North/South Senior Showcase held at Bryant University in the summer of 2009... Also played two years of football and a year of basketball... Four-year honor roll student.
