Kuhar named NEC Scholar-Athlete; 104 earn Honor Roll nods

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University student-athletes finished the 2017-18 academic year strong, with 104 Bulldogs earning Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll accolades, highlighted by men’s tennis’ Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) who was named the sport’s Spring Scholar-Athlete. 26 student-athletes were named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Bryant captures fifth-straight NEC Men's Commissioner's Cup

PHILADELPHIA - Bryant University men’s lacrosse freshman Marc O’Rourke (Hingham, Mass.) was selected as the 2018 Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year, highlighting a group of seven Bulldogs to earn all-NEC honors for their regular-season efforts. The full all-conference teams were announced Wednesday at a reception on the Saint Joseph’s University campus.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Seniors Tom Kennedy (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and Cam Ziegler (Carlsbad, Calif.) became the first Bulldog teammates in nine years to each score five goals in a game as the Bryant University men’s lacrosse team emphatically closed out the regular season with a 17-9 road win over Brown Tuesday night at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
