Weingarten collects USILA Scholar All-America honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bryant University men's lacrosse senior Trevor Weingarten (Allendale, N.J.) has been selected as a USILA/Warrior and New Balance Division I Scholar All-America honoree for the 2020 season, the organization announced Friday evening.

Weingarten, a midfielder from New Jersey, held a 3.67 cumulative grade-point average entering the spring. The finance major graduated in May, earning NEC Honor Roll status in the shortened 2020 campaign.

Through 45 career games, Weingarten has scored 49 goals and added 27 assists for 76 points. Weingarten tallied 12 goals in seven games in 2020, finding the scoring column at least once in every contest. He has recorded at least one point in 20 consecutive games dating back to Feb. 16, 2019.

Weingarten was an All-NEC second team recipient in the midfield in both 2018 and 2019. He has earned NEC Honor Roll status in all four seasons in Smithfield.
