Bryant ranked 19th nationally, 1st in New England

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team is ranked No. 19 in this week's U.S. Lacrosse Magazine Top 20, it was announced on Monday.

In addition to their national ranking, the Bulldogs took over the top spot in the NEILA New England rankings announced on Monday.

Bryant earned an 11-10 victory over Merrimack on Saturday, extending its best start in DI program history and matching the best start in program history at 5-1. The Black and Gold are also 3-0 in the Northeast Conference and have won four-straight games.

The Bulldogs currently rank 21st nationally in scoring average, 17th in scoring defense and are ninth nationally in clear percentage. Bryant has three players with 10+ goals, including Mason Drouin who is tied for the national lead with six man-up goals.

Bryant returns to Beirne Stadium this Saturday to host rival Hobart. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
