Bryant heads to Mount on Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team hits the road this weekend, traveling to Emmitsburg, Md., to face Mount St. Mary's. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

THE SERIES
Bryant is 8-4 all-time vs Mount St. Mary's. The Bulldogs and Mountaineers last played in 2019, a 10-7 win for Mount. Bryant hasn't won in Emmitsburg since 2015.     

SCOUTING MOUNT ST. MARY'S
Mount enters with a 5-8 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the NEC. Jared McMahon leads the team with 29 points, while Jake Krieger has 20 points. Mount features six players with 10+ goals.     

BRYANT NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • The Bulldogs are 6-5 overall and 4-1 in the NEC following a 22-10 win over Sacred Heart last Saturday. 
  • Marc O'Rourke (35-13-48), Logan McGovern (14-23-37) and Bennett Abladian (29-4-33) pace the Bryant offense. 
  • O'Rourke is coming off a career day vs the Pios. He scored nine goals and finished with 12 points to earn NEC Offensive Player of the Week honors. 
  • Jacob Alexander has won 55 percent of his faceoffs and has posted 68 ground balls.
