Coach Purcell's Comments

"We all wanted this game for the seniors, but in life, it doesn't always go the way you want it to. I thought we outplayed and controlled the tempo. We created many opportunities but just couldn't find the back of the net. I honestly couldn't ask for any more from these young me. I'm heartbroken for them."

Key Moment

Marius Koss provided LIU all it would need late in the match, as he fired a rocket into the top corner past junior Olivier Larente (LaSalle, Montreal, Canada) to give the Blackbirds the lead.
