SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The third-seeded Bryant University men's soccer team will face second-seeded Long Island University in the 2019 Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Semifinals on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Bryant will be making its fourth NEC Tournament appearance in seven years of postseason eligibility.

- LIU owns a 7-3-2 lead in the all-time series, including a 2-0 victory earlier this year.

Bulldog Notes and Notables
- Bryant enters the NEC Tournament with an 8-7 overall record.
- Bryant's eight wins are the second-most in a single season in DI program history.
- Senior Alex DaCosta (Bristol, Conn.) continues to lead the team with 16 points on the year.
- DaCosta, however, hasn't scored in five games and the Bulldogs have received offensive production from other sources. Freshman Jake Spaulding (Topsfield, Mass.) scored twice in a 2-0 win over Mount St. Mary's and senior Trevor Lyne (Feeding Hills, Mass.) scored his first-career goal in a 1-0 win over FDU.
- Sophomore Will Swart (Little Compton, R.I.) has also stepped up to the plate, posting three saves to earn a shutout against FDU, clinching Bryant a playoff spot.
A bit about the Sharks
- The Sharks are 9-7-1 entering the tournament.
- LIU allowed just six goals in nine NEC matches this year.
- Kyle Parish has posted five goals and four assists for 14 points.
- Papa Ndoye leads the team with seven goals, including two in a win over Bryant.
