Smithfield, R.I. - Bryant Univeristy men's soccer head coach Seamus Purcell finalizes the class of 2025 with the addition of five more players. The Class of 2025 now has nine players, Purcell previously added four on National Signing Day.

"In the middle of an incredibly challenging and difficult year, we are excited to announce and welcome these five talented young men as part of the recruiting class of 2025 to Bryant University, Coach Purcell said."

"Since last March, our student-athletes, their families, and our coaching staff have had to deal with great adversity and uncertainty because of the Covid-19 situation. Our day-to-day operations, soccer activities, academic, and athletic scheduling along with lifestyle changes have tested our character and mental wellbeing, Purcell said." "If there is one thing I know for certain, these five men are joining a great group of guys and a team that possesses great character, positivity, and resilience. I am so proud of this program, this university, our athletic department, and this team during an ever-changing and trying period of time."

Purcell said, "Bryant soccer is thriving and the addition of the 2025 recruiting class only adds to our bright future and potential as a program. We will all enjoy working with and watching these players excel for the next four years at Bryant University."

Purcell on SartoriWe are thrilled to welcome Landon to Smithfield and fully expect him to be a valuable addition to our roster next season and moving forward. Landon should develop and challenge for playing time as an outside defender and help us attack in wide areas and supply service into the forwards. Landon is a quick and clever player that also has great technique and ball-striking abilities. We love that he is hard-working and confident when joining the attack while never overlooking or sacrificing his defensive responsibilities. Landon immediately strengthens our defensive group and will benefit from having some very good veteran players and experienced teammates on the roster that can teach him the key points in how to play within our system. We are very happy to welcome Landon and trust that he will enjoy being part of the family.

Purcell on MouraWe have been aware of Pauly for years and have kept a close eye on his development having played locally for club and high school as well as his production at Bridgton Academy this past year. Pauly is a crafty and technical midfielder who has the ability to problem-solve, maintain possession and boost offensive production throughout a game. Playing the role of midfield at the division one level is a tough task but I feel that this young player will have the ability to make an important impact in his first year as he strengthens and develops his game on both sides of the ball. We are very excited and happy that Pauly is joining us and look forward to watching him excel at Bryant University

We are very impressed with his ability to read the game and create goal-scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates in and around the goal. He is hardworking and relentless in the attack while also possessing the ability to play as a central midfielder and control the pace of the game when needed from a supporting position. Additionally, we love the fact that he plays with a sense of confidence and maturity on the ball and will be a factor when taking offensive set-pieces.
