Men's Soccer selected sixth in preseason poll

Somerset, N.J. - The Bryant University men's soccer team has been selected to finish sixth in the Northeast Conference by the organization on Wednesday.

St. Francis Brooklyn is in the top position with eight, first-place votes followed by Long Island, which received two votes. The rest of the poll consists of Saint Francis U, Merrimack, and Fairleigh Dickinson, who are tied for fourth, Bryant, Central Connecticut, Mount St. Mary's, Sacred Heart, and the newest member of the NEC Howard.

Last season the Bulldogs finished with a 2-2-2 record. All-NEC first-team member Ben Williams will be returning for his senior season. He led the team in goals with four. The rest of the Black and Golds scoring will also be coming back for the 2021 season. Nick Awada, Barnaby Brandon, and Diego Rodriguez all found the back of the net for Bryant in 2020.

The Bulldogs will kick off the season on August 27th in a road match against UConn.
