Awada scores twice in home win vs. Brown

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Nick Awada of the Bryant University men's soccer team scored two goals. During the 2-1 home victory against Brown at Beirne Stadium. This is the Bulldog's second consecutive home win.

• 31st minute - Bryant 2, Brown 0 - Jakob Friedman took the ball down the right of the field and then sprinted towards the corner before sending a soaring cross to the left, which was headed in by a launching Awada for his and Bryant's second goal of the evening.
• 84th minute - Bryant 2, Brown 1 - The Bears forward riffled a shot, which Luca Marinelli saved, but then he corraled the rebound and launched the ball to the left of the goal from the right of the box.
