Ryan Levesque
Title: Asst. Men's Soccer Coach

Ryan Levesque joins the coaching staff of the Bryant University men's soccer team for his first season in 2009. Levesque comes to Smithfield from Brown University, where he spent three years serving as assistant men's soccer coach.

Over his trio of seasons with Brown, the Bears went a combined 35-12-5, winning the Ivy League in 2007 with a perfect 7-0 conference record. Brown also made two NCAA appearances during Levesque's tenure, advancing to the second round each time.

Prior to his stint at Brown, Levesque served as the head coach of Suffield (CT) Academy from 2001-2005. His Suffield teams qualified for the New England tournament for three-straight years after being unable to achieve the feat in the previous seven seasons. His 2005 team also won the New England Prep School Championship.

Before arriving at Suffield, Levesque served as an assistant coach at University of Vermont from 1998 to 2001.  He is currently the Bruno United Boys U15 and U16 premier team coach.

A 1996 Vermont graduate, Levesque was a four-year starter for the Catamounts. The MVP of the 1995 New England All-Star Game, he was a two-time academic all-conference player and finished his career No. 7 on Vermont's all-time goal scorers list.

Levesque also has extensive professional playing experience, competing for the Connecticut Wolves, the Abbington Town United, English Third Division, the Buffalo Blizzard, the Vermont Wanderers, the Boston Bulldogs, the New Hampshire Phantoms and the Western Mass. Pioneers. He holds a USSF "A" License and the NSCAA Premier Diploma.

Levesque currently resides in Smithfield, R.I. with his wife, Cassie, and daughter, Sophia.
