Bryant men selected third in MAAC Preseason Poll

EDISON, N.J. – The Bryant University men's swimming and diving program was selected third in the Metro Atlantic Men's Swimming and Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Tuesday.

Head coach Katie Cameron's team is coming off a third-place finish at the MAAC Championships in Buffalo, N.Y., in which the team compiled a program-record 538.5 points over the four-day meet. Then-freshman Matthew Mays (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) earned Men's Rookie of the Meet honors, the first award of its kind in Bulldog men's history and just the second major award the Bulldogs have won at the meet this season.

Cameron, along with assistant Jerry Cummiskey and graduate assistant George Eglesfield are back to coach the men in the pool, while Chuck LoCurto and new assistant Kristian Santos will be coaching the Bulldogs on the diving boards.

The 28-member squad is back in the pool again on Friday, October 12 at 5 p.m. when they head up to meet Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. to open the 2018-19 season.
