Bulldogs to face in-state rival Providence Friday
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Looking to build off the solid times from last weekend at Boston College, the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team heads to Providence on Friday night for a date with the Friars.

Last Time Out
Graduate student Micah Ornelas (San Diego, Calif.) won all four of his races, finishing with 27 points in a 183-115 loss to Boston College last Friday. Sophomore Matthew Mays (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) chipped in 18 with a pair of individual victories in the meet.
Last Meet with Providence
Sophomores Andrew Allen (Bedford, N.H.) and Mays each added a pair of individual victories in Bryant's 184-104 victory over the Friars last season at the Chace Athletic Center Pool. Each diver, sophomore Trevor Hazlewood (Corpus Christi, Texas) and senior Kevin Sullivan (East Lyme, Conn.), each won a board in the diving portion of the night.
A bit about the Friars
Providence is coming off a second-place finish in the New England Catholic Invite, held at Boston College. The Friars compiled 700 points over the two-day meet.
They were led by freshman Andrew Ferrell was first to the wall in the 200 fly (1:56.74) and finished the meet with 20 points. The two relays, 200 free and 400 free, both finished in third for Providence.
