MEN'S TENNIS COMES UP WITH BIG 5-4 WIN OVER MERCY SUNDAY AFTERNOON
SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant freshman Cristian Balestrieri and sophomore Tom Nowak (right) came up with big wins Sunday afternoon to lead the Bryant men's tennis team to a 5-4 win over Mercy College in non-conference action at the Bryant Tennis Courts.
The win, Bryant's 17th of the season (17-3), is the final regular season victory of the year as the Bulldogs open Northeast-10 Conference playoff action this week. Bryant is the top seed of the tournament. Mercy entered the match tied with Bryant tied at 45th in the national rankings.
The Bullodgs open Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinal round play Tuesday afternoon against Le Moyne at 2 pm.
