BRYANT MEN'S TENNIS DOWNS AIC 9-0

SMITHFIELD, RI - It was senior day at Bryant University for the men's tennis team and under beautiful sunny skies, the senior class came through in style in leading the Bulldogs to a 9-0 win over visiting American International Tuesday afternoon at the Bryant Tennis Complex.

Prior to the match, Bryant seniors Craig Drushella (Harwich, MA), Kevin Levinson (Pawcatuck, CT), Mike Pickowicz (Bedford, NH), and Donald Silva (East Taunton, MA) were honored by coach Ron Gendron.   Once the match started, the seniors took over. 

Drushella and Levinson teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles while Pickowicz joined teammate Jose Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru) for an 8-3 win at No. 2.  Silva and Ryan Frerichs (Andover, MA) were winners at No. 3 and the Bulldogs never looked back.

In singles play, Drushella was victorious over Robert Lubold, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 while Levinson, Pickowicz and Silva captured wins at four through six as the Bulldogs won the match 9-0.
