MEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS MISSOURI VALLEY
HILTON HEAD, SC -- The Bryant men's tennis team kept up its winning ways Monday in the team's first match at Hilton Head, South Carolina for Spring Break. The Bulldogs, winners by a score of 8-1 over Merrimack on Saturday back in Rhode Island, flew into town Sunday and got the week off on a strong start with an 8-1 win over Missouri Valley.
Cristian Balestrieri and Jose Rodriguez rolled to impressive
straight-set wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively.
Balestrieri earned a 6-3, 6-1 win over Lorenz Pestinger and
Rodriduez, who transferred to Bryant from Missouri Valley, defeated
Eugenio Huerta, 6-0, 6-2.
