MEN'S TENNIS HOST BRANDEIS FOR THEIR LAST MATCH OF SEASON, WEDNESDAY 4/22

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University's men's tennis will wrap up their 2008-09 season on Wednesday aftenroon hosting Brandeis University for "Senior Day."  Prior to the start of teh match, head coach Ron Gendron and the entire Bulldog taem will honor senior standout Jose Rodriguez.

A native of Trujillo, Peru, Rodriguez has been one of the most consistent and talented members of the Bulldogs for the past two seasons.  A transfer from Missour Valley, Rodriguez, enjoyed instant success right away by winning the ITA East Regional Championship in 2008 and helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2008 Northeast-10 regular season and tournament championship with an undefeated record and berth in the NCAA tournament.

He enters Wednesday's match with a 23-13 overall record in singles play and a doubles record of 23-14.   Brandeis (7-13) comes into the match following two tough losses this past Saturday, falling to New York University (5-4) and Rochester University (5-3).

Come out and support Jose and your Bulldogs as they battle in their last match of the season.  The match will take place on the Bryant Courts, Wednesday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m.
