SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's tennis had a busy Saturday as two players competed at the ITA Northeast Regionals while the rest of the team faced RPI in the Bryant Pumpkin Fest at the Bryant Tennis Courts.

COACH GENDRON'S COMMENTS

"Today was not our best day. The effort was there but the results were not what we hoped for. On the home front, our guys battled RPI and had a very productive day. Senior Nick Lamart and sophomore Andrew Corrado led our Bulldogs and got a lot of quality work done."

HOW IT HAPPENED (ITAs)

Competing in the third round, redshirt junior Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) was defeated by Columbia's William Matheson, 6-4, 6-1.
Senior Luke Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was defeated in the consolation bracket, 6-2, 6-4, by Binghamton's Kushaan Nath.
