Bulldogs fall to Weber St. on Sunday
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team fell to Weber St., 4-3, in the final match of its Colorado trip on Sunday morning.

How it happened (Doubles)
- The Bulldogs were able to snag the doubles point for the third time on the weekend. Senior Luke Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and freshman Grant Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.) earned a clean 6-0 win at No. 3 to start the match. Stefan Cooper and Kris Van Wyk then evened things with a 6-2 win at No. 1.
- Bryant was able to close out the point with a 6-2 win at No. 2 from Jorge Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) and younger brother Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico).
How it happened (Singles)
- Bryant and Weber St. went back-and-forth in singles, with the Bulldogs building a 3-2 lead. The Wildcats, however, picked up victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles to close the match.
- Junior Artur Jakubowski (Dallas, Texas) evened the match at 2-2 with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 win at No. 4, and redshirt junior Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) made it 3-2 with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 victory at No. 1.
