Bulldogs sweep Colgate to close out weekend

SYRACUSE, N.Y.  – The Bryant University men's tennis team wrapped up the weekend with a dominant 7-0 win over Colgate on Sunday afternoon in Syracuse.

Coach Gendron's Comments

"The boys played hard this weekend and deserved to come away with two quality wins. We are looking forward to a great battle next weekend with Sacred Heart, Buffalo and Princeton."  

How it Happened

  • Bryant put together another impressive performance at doubles, winning at No. 2 and No. 3 to clinch the point. Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Trent Massam (Wellington, New Zealand) won for the sixth-straight time, while Grant Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.) and Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) won for the fifth-straight time.
  • The Bulldogs then won all six singles matches to close out the win. Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) and Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) both won for the fifth-straight time at No. 1 and No. 2.
