Gendron adds Morris, Parziale to coaching staff

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's tennis coach Ron Gendron is excited to welcome a pair of Bryant tennis legends to his coaching staff with the addition of Zach Morris '15 and Dana Parziale '14.

Morris will serve as an assistant coach, while Parziale will take over as the volunteer assistant.

"Adding Zach and Dana will provide great mentors and coaches for our team and it will personally be rewarding to have two of the greatest Bulldogs back in my life on a daily basis," Gendron said. "They both will serve in a developmental role and add additional help at practice. We could not be luckier to have them back."

Morris will always be remembered for his performance in the 2014 Northeast Conference Championships, as he clinched Bryant's first-ever league title with three-set victory at No. 2 singles. He was a six-time All-NEC selection during his time in Smithfield and was a part of two NEC title teams. Morris went 20-9 as a senior, earning All-NEC First Team honors in singles and doubles.

Parziale graduated in 2014 as one of the most prolific tennis players in program and NEC history. He helped Bryant win it's first-ever league title in 2014 and finished his career with 160 victories. Parziale was named the 2014 ITA Northeast Most Improved Senior, was an eight-time All-NEC selection and was chosen as the 2011 NEC Rookie of the Year.
